The Trans-Australia Airlines Vickers Viscount 720C VH-TVC, on lease to Ansett-ANA was destroyed when it broke-up in flight over Sydney's Botany Bay, killing all 15 people on board. It was operating Flight AN325 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Canberra.
