It was then sold to Internation Lease Finance Company who then leased it to Sunworld International Airways. |

On This Day - November 04, 2010. The Qantas Airways Airbus A380-842 VH-OQA 'Nancy-Bird Walton' was badly damaged when the Number 2 engine sustained an uncontained engine fire, shortly after taking off from Singapore Airport. The aircraft was operating Flight QF32 from London to Sydney via Singapore. The flight crew were successful in returning to Singapore Airport and making a safe landing despite the aircraft having sustained multiple system failures. |
