On This Day - March 13, 1971. The veteran Douglas DC-3-232A VH-ABR operated its final Airlines of South Australia revenue service, when it flew Adelaide West Beach - Kingscote - Adelaide. It had flown 67,224 hours to date. It was then ferried to Melbourne Essendon Airport on March 15 for storage. |
