The Qantas Airways Lockheed 188C Electra VH-ECD 'Pacific Enterprise' operated the airline's first 'Electra' service from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to South Africa (Johannesburg) replacing the Lockheed Constellation.

The Freedom Air International Boeing 757-204 G-BYAF departed New Zealand (Auckland) on its ferry flight to the United Kingdom (London / Luton) on return to Britannia Airways at the end of the lease.
