The Airlines of N.S.W. Douglas DC-3 VH-ANQ was withdrawn from service and placed in open storage at Melbourne (Essendon). The wings and centre-section were later removed and fitted to the remaining Airlines of N.S.W. Douglas DC-3 VH-ANR.

On This Day - November 20, 2002.

Following its recent overhaul and refurbishment, the Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGL was ferried from Auckland (New Zealand) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith) as Flight QF7624 on delivery to Australian Airlines Pty Ltd. It was then ferried to Cairns as Flight AO7081 later that day, for entry into service.

The Tigerair Airbus A320-232 VH-VNO departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) on its ferry flight to the United States (San Bernadino) on return to the lessor and storage, following the airline's termination of services.
