The ex-Ansett Airlines Boeing 737-33A VH-CZQ was ferried from Adelaide (West Beach) to Christchurch (New Zealand) as Flight AN4405, where it was then prepared for a six-month lease to Virgin Blue Airlines.

The ex-Ansett Airlines Boeing 737-377 VH-CZO, that had been stored since September 14, 2001 following the airline's suspension of operations due to bankruptcy, and reregistered as S7-ABC, departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) on its ferry flight to Singapore (Changi) for further storage.
