On This Day - October 07, 2008. The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-303 VH-QPA 'Kununurra' was involved in a very serious mid-flight control emergency whilst operating Flight QF72 from Singapore to Perth, which resulted in the aircraft pitching down very abruptly. Unrestrained passengers were flung around the cabin during the rapid descent. |
