On This Day - December 13, 1947. The Australian National Airways Douglas DC-3-232A VH-ABR 'Kanana' was badly damaged whilst taking-off at Mildura Airport, Victoria, when an engine failed and the undercarriage collapsed. It was repaired and returned to service. This was its third major accident. |
