The Australian National Airways Douglas DC-2-115G VH-ADZ 'Menana' was sold to Charles M. Macdonald t/a 'Macair'. His intention was to use the aircraft on overseas migrant charter flights, but this did not eventuate. The aircraft was acquired by Sid D. Marshall in July 1948.

The Air Queensland Douglas C-47B-30-DK VH-BPN was withdrawn from service and stored at Cairns, after operating its final revenue flight.

On This Day - November 05, 2001.

Following the collapse of Ansett Airlines on September 13, the Boeing 737-33A VH-CZS, having been prepaired at Melbourne (Tullamarine) for dry-lease to Qantas Airways, was ferried from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Christchurch (New Zealand) as Flight AN4405 on delivery to Qantas Jetconnect.

On This Day - November 05, 2002.

Following its cabin refurbishment the Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGK was ferried from Melbourne (Avalon) to Sydney (RAAF Richmond) for repainting into the 'Australian Airlines' livery.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-303 VH-QPD 'Port Macquarie' entered service, operating Flight QF187 from Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Hong Kong.

The Virgin Blue Embraer ERJ-190-100IGW VH-ZPK 'Aussie Rob' arrived at Brisbane, having completed its delivery flight from Brazil (Sao Jose dos Campos) as Flight DJ9082.

On This Day - November 05, 2020.

The Boeing 737-8FE VH-VUF arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) in an all-white livery, having ferried in from Toowoomba (Wellcamp). It was then handed over to REX Regional Express Airlines at Sydney before being ferried Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Wagga Wagga as RXA1961 for preparation to enter REX service.
