The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-376 VH-TAZ 'Victory' returned to service after being repainted into the Qantas livery, operating Flight QF608 from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Brisbane.

The ex Ansett Airlines Boeing 727-277LR VH-ANA, having been sold to Intrepid Aviation (USA) departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) on its ferry flight to the United States (Miami) as Flight AN290, where is was converted to an 'all-freight' configuration.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-376 VH-TJB 'Fortitude' operated its last revenue service as Flight QF1079 from Mt Isa to Brisbane. It was then ferried from Brisbane to Melbourne (Tullamarine) as Flight QF6125 to be prepared for delivery to Qantas Jetconnect (New Zealand).
