The Impulse Airlines Boeing 717-231 VH-VQI arrived at Newcastle, having completed its delivery flight from the United States (California, Victorville) in an all-metal livery with a 'TWA' rudder. Impulse Airlines had been awarded the contract to operate services for Qantas under the 'QantasLink' banner. It was then ferried to Sydney (Richmond) later that day for repainting into the QantasLink livery.
