The Trans-Australia Airlines Douglas DC-9-31 VH-TJK 'Douglas Mawson' was rolled out at Melbourne (Essendon) in the airline's new 'blue-tail' livery.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Boeing 727-276A VH-TBG 'Charles Sturt' was rolled out at Melbourne (Tullamarine) in the airline's new 'camel-hump' livery.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Douglas DC-9-31 VH-TJM departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) for the last time, on its ferry flight to the United States, following its sale to Airborne Express.

The Ansett Airlines Boeing 727-277A VH-RMX was returned to service as a freighter. All freight items had to be physically carried onto the aircraft.

The REX Regional Express Airlines SAAB 340B N361BE arrived at Wagga Wagga having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Nashville, Tennessee). It was reregistered as VH-KRX on April 23 before it entered service.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-202 VH-EBK 'Savannah Way' was ferried from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith) as Flight QF6142, where it was withdrawn from service and stored due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
