The Qantas Airways Lockheed 188C Electra VH-ECD 'Pacific Enterprise' operated the airline's final Electra service, operating Sydney (Kingsford Smith) - Wellington - Sydney (Kingsford Smith) as Flight QF322 / 327. The aircraft had flown 24,953 hours. It was then leased to Air New Zealand.

It was withdrawn from service, having flown 68,182 hours with 21,691 cycles, and prepared for ferrying to the United States for return to the lessor.
