The Qantas Airways Lockheed 1049C Constellation VH-EAG was officially christened 'Southern Constellation' and accepted at the Lockheed plant at Burbank (California).

On This Day - March 28, 1994.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-338 VH-EBT operated its final JAL / Qantas Airways joint service between Japan and Australia, flying Tokyo (Narita) to Brisbane. It was then ferried Brisbane - Sydney (Kingsford Smith) the next day as Flight QF212, on return to Qantas Airways.

The Ansett Australia Airbus A320-211 VH-HYT departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) on its ferry flight to France (Toulouse) as Flight AN4040 for major overhaul and sale, following the total collapse of Ansett Airlines.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A380-842 VH-OQA 'Nancy-Bird Walton' was withdrawn from service and stored at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after operating Flight QF2 from Darwin to Sydney (Kingsford Smith).
