The veteran Douglas DC-3-232A VH-ABR operated its final Airlines of South Australia revenue service, when it operated Adelaide (West Beach) - Kingscote - Adelaide (West Beach). It had flown 67,224 hours to date. It was then ferried to Melbourne (Essendon) on March 15 for storage.

The Ansett Airlines Boeing 737-33A VH-CZX was ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Melbourne (Tullamarine) as Flight AN4041, where it had been stored since September 14, 2001, following the airline's collapse due to insolvency.
