The Travmar Douglas DC-3C-S1C3G VH-MMD was sold to the National War Museum by the receivers of Travmar Holdings Pty Ltd, some years after it had ceased flying due to financial problems. The aircraft had flown a total of 35,374:03 hours.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Douglas DC-9-31 VH-TJO 'William Wentworth' operated its final revenue service as Flight TN500 from Launceston to Melbourne (Tullamarine). It was withdrawn from use and stored at Melbourne having flown 43,337 hours with 47,021 cycles.
