The United States Army Air Force Douglas C-47A-30-DL 42-23731, which had been allocated to the Royal Australian Air Force under the 'Lend - Lease' agreement, arrived at 3 Aircraft Depot, Amberley, Queensland. It was registered as A65-13 before being allocated to RAAF No. 34 Squadron on July 02.

On This Day - June 21, 1982.

The Ansett Airlines Douglas DC-9-31 VH-CZD that had been stored at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) in the 'Air Vanuatu' livery since May 23, was ferried to Melbourne (Tullamarine) for storage pending its sale to the United States Navy.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Boeing 727-276A VH-TBH 'Freeman Cobb' was rolled out at Melbourne (Tullamarine) in the airline's new 'camel-hump' livery. It returned to service on July 13.

On This Day - June 21, 1986.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Boeing 727-276A VH-TBP 'John Macarthur' operated its last service in the airline's 'camel-hump' livery. It then underwent heavy maintenance and a repaint at the Melbourne (Tullamarine) workshops.

On This Day - June 21, 1991.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438 VH-OJK 'City of Newcastle' arrived at Darwin having completed its first revenue service / delivery flight from the United States (Seattle, Seatac) as Flight QF531. It was then ferried from Darwin to Sydney (Kingsford Smith) as Flight QF531P, thus completing the delivery flight. It was the airline's 90th Boeing airliner and its 41st Boeing 747.

The Sunstate / QantasLink Short 360-100 VH-BWO operated its final revenue service as Flight QF2451 from Maroochydore to Brisbane. It was withdrawn from service and stored at Brisbane pending its sale to Air Cargo Carriers (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).

The Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGV arrived at Cairns having operated its final Australian Airlines' service, operating Flight AO7950 from Nagoya (Japan). It was then ferried from Cairns to Brisbane as Flight AO7805 later that day to undergo a cabin refurbishment before the aircraft was returned to Qantas Airways.
