It was the airline's 146th Boeing airliner and its 26th Boeing 737. Whilst at Christchurch winglets were fitted to the aircraft by Air New Zealand Engineering during it's 'pre-service' maintenance. It entered service later that day, operating Flight QF556 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Brisbane. |
