On This Day - January 04, 1987. The Ansett Airlines Boeing 737-277A VH-CZS operated its last revenue service as Flight AN2057 from Brisbane to Melbourne (Tullamarine). It was then withdrawn from service having flown some 12,300 hours, and prepared for its ferry flight to the United States. |

On This Day - January 04, 2004. The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-4Q8 VH-TJV 'Swan' operated its final passenger service as Flight QF498 from Perth to Melbourne (Tullamarine). It was then returned to the lessor at Melbourne. Qantas repainted the aircraft into the Sky Airlines (Turkey) livery as part of the 'end-of-lease' maintenance. |
