The ex Qantas Airways Boeing 707-338C VH-EBU, now owned by ITEL and leased to Air Niugini as P2-ANH, entered service, operating Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Port Moresby.

On This Day - January 02, 2003.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-202 VH-EBA 'Cradle Mountain' operated the airline's inaugural 'CityFlyer' service between Sydney (Kingsford Smith) and Perth as Flight QF581. Later that day it operated the inaugural 'CityFlyer' service between Perth and Melbourne (Tullamarine) as Flight QF580.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEJ 'Wunala Dreaming' was ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Xiamen (China) as Flight QF6021 for repainting into the airline's 'New Roo' livery.
