The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-202 VH-EBA 'Cradle Mountain' operated the airline's inaugural 'CityFlyer' service between Sydney (Kingsford Smith) and Perth as Flight QF581. Later that day it operated the inaugural 'CityFlyer' service between Perth and Melbourne (Tullamarine) as Flight QF580.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEJ 'Wunala Dreaming' was ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Xiamen (China) as Flight QF6021 for repainting into the airline's 'New Roo' livery.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGT was ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Alice Springs (Northern Territory) as Flight QF6160 for storage, pending its sale. On engine shut-down the aircraft had flown 61,789.11 hours with 17,928 cycles.
