The Qantas Airways Lockheed 1049G Super Constellation VH-EAD 'Southern Dawn' operated its final revenue service flying Sydney (Kingsford Smith) - Darwin - Sydney (Kingsford Smith). It was then withgdrawn from service and stored at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having flown some 12,500 hours with 2,390 cycles.
