The Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGV returned to service following its repainting in China earlier in the month, operating Flight QF43 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Auckland (New Zealand).

The QantasLink Boeing 717-231 VH-NXO was ferried from Adelaide (West Beach) to Perth as Flight QF6200, in preparation for entry into-service with National Jet Systems, who had been awarded the contract by Qantas Airways to operated the 'QantasLink' services.

Later that day it departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) on its ferry flight to Singapore as Flight JQ7991 for end-of-lease maintenance and repainting into the Qantas 'new roo' livery.
