The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438 VH-OJM 'Gosford' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith), having completed its ferry flight from Singapore via Hong Kong, where it had been repainted into the airline's 'New Roo' livery. It returned to service the same day, operating Flight QF21 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Japan (Tokyo / Narita).

The Airwork New Zealand Boeing 737-484SF N962NZ arrived at Auckland (New Zealand) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Alabama / Dothan) where it had been converted to an 'all-freight' configuration. It was reregistered as ZK-TLL before it entered service.
