On This Day - June 21, 1943.

The United States Army Air Force Douglas C-47A-30-DL 42-23731, which had been allocated to the Royal Australian Air Force under the 'Lend - Lease' agreement, arrived at 3 Aircraft Depot, Amberley, Queensland. It was registered as A65-13 before being allocated to RAAF No. 34 Squadron on July 02.

On This Day - June 21, 1983.

The Trans-Australia Airlines Boeing 727-276A VH-TBH 'Freeman Cobb' was rolled out at Melbourne (Tullamarine) in the airline's new 'camel-hump' livery. It returned to service on July 13.

The Rex Regional Express SAAB 340B VH-ORX entered service, operating Flight ZL421 from Wagga Wagga to Melbourne (Tullamarine).

On This Day - June 21, 2006.

The Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGV arrived at Cairns having operated its final Australian Airlines' service, operating Flight AO7950 from Nagoya (Japan). It was then ferried from Cairns to Brisbane as Flight AO7805 later that day to undergo a cabin refurbishment before the aircraft was returned to Qantas Airways.
